America's Next Top Model

Finally, I was able to convince Ally to let me take some
photos of her yesterday! She did such a good job and admitted
when it was over that she had a lot of fun. She did question the "areas"
I chose a few times, but was very happy with the outcome :)
Thanks Ally, I love you with all my heart & you are a princess!
(This is a common saying in our house.....I even like to say it to
my Hubby, although he prefers Prince...hehehehe!)

Just a few pics....

It's not often that I can get my oldest daughter, Ally, to cooperate for a pic. So, if you are ever wondering why she is not on the blog as much as the three littler ones, it is not because we have her locked up in the basement or something...she just dodges me! I really wish she would let me get more pics of her!

Caiden on the other hand, is pretty much willing to cooperate. :)
Thanks Caiden!

Do NOT Smile!

The minute I got home from the workshop, I wanted to start taking photos of the kids. I brought my seven year old son, Caiden, out to practice for a few pics & I gave him specific instructions.....DO NOT SMILE. Here's what happened..
Here, he did pretty good...

Then, he started to *crack*...

Then he lost it....too late to turn back...

More from the workshop..

I mentioned in an earlier post that I went to a workshop recently & I wanted to elaborate a little more on that.... The workshop was hosted by Chicago Children's photographer, Audrey Woulard. If you are not familiar with her name, you may recall having seen her work in Pottery Barn Kid's. I am very blessed to have had the opportunity to work with such a fantastic photographer.

The workshop was awesome & I feel that I walked away with a fresh outlook on what lies ahead for my business. In addition, I met 20 phenomenol photographer's from all over the US, who were very generous in sharing their knowledge with one another.

Audrey had several models available for us to photograph indoor's and outdoor's, while she taught us her techniques, tips & tricks :) Thanks to all of our little models and families for letting us run around like paparazzi for the day. And of course, thanks to Mrs. Audrey!

And now, the models.....
