Grateful.

This Mother's Day, I will be especially grateful
for my four beautiful children. Today, I met a
mother who lost one child and watched as the
other clings to life. As I photographed "S" & "S"
her Mom told me how close the sisters were to
eachother. How they were both very busy and
how beautiful they were.
*
And just as one mother is saying goodbye,
she thinks of other mothers and their
children, & decides to participate in
organ donation. What a wonderful
*gift* to give during such a tragic time.
*
I will admit, that this is not an easy thing
for me to do when I photograph....but knowing
in my heart that I can help these families preserve
the memory of their child is so rewarding. I do this
in honor of my nephews, Gabreal and Samuel.
*
God bless all of you and know that you
weigh heavily on my heart.

Jessica, I am so envious....I don't think
I looked this good with the first...and
certainly not the 2nd!
*
Thanks so much for choosing me....
this is such a special moment in our
lives, and sometimes we don't realize
it and skip the pics of ourselves...."ahem."

Nick + Erin = Rockin' Couple

I photographed this rockin' couple last weekend....
I was blown away at Erin 's talent...she made
her wedding dress & veil, made her daughter's
dress, made cute little place card tuxes & dresses,
made the food...alot of food, made her invites,
her cake and decorated for the reception!
Now, she had a lot of help from family the
day of, but still......unbelievable what this chick
pulled off for a 10am wedding!
*
Nick attended school to study graphic arts
& photography! He is serving our country in
the Army and was only home for a short time to
finalize their wedding. Nick, thank you for
keeping all of us safe!
*
Tbey were both so comfortable in front of the
camera and were so "in the moment."
You can not only "see" their love in these
pics, you can feel it! And check out their
SHOES! Too cute! After we took pics in their
wedding attire, they changed into street clothes.
*
Erin & Nick.....I had sooooo much FUN!
Truly....thanks so very much for including
me in your special day!

This one I tried with two different actions

I use....I loved both looks!

Here they are with their beautiful daughter, "R."
Love her hair.....al nautral........

LOVE the shoes!!!!!

New Friends....

I loved meeting this new family! I have two
boys of my own and they are very energetic
to say the least! These three were full of it
themselves! Little "J" below was very
quick on his feet! Isn't he a doll?

Next is little "O," who was quite shy of me...
I think the bubbles & fruit snacks changed his mind!

Then there is "N," such a sweetheart....
He's 5, like one of my little guys....I love 5!

This one I had to share.... Do you know what
this pic shows? Security......he loves his bear.

Precious.
