Meet Pretty Miss Waverly / South Bend Newborn Photographer

Waverly came to see me today at 24 days new.

Typically, I photograph between 7 & 10 days

after birth...However, she was a wonderful

surprise to her family. After waiting for years 

to adopt again, her family had been praying 

very hard, when suddenly they were answered.

At 13 days old, she joined her Mom & Dad

& younger brother to complete their family.

Mom really wanted her to sleep during her

session so I could capture the sleepy poses

I usually get, but Waverly had plans of her own.

She was very alert, yet calm enough to get

these pics of her with her gorgeous eyes open...

What a great compromise :)

Her gorgeous skin tones look amazing in any color!!

My goodness.....look at this precious little girl.

She was such a rockstar sleeper...but I wasn't

a bit surprised, her Mama is a rockstar too :)

Sweet little Benjamin made his debut just 5 days ago....

What a handsome little guy.....light blonde hair,

pink little baby skin.....simply perfect.

I didn't realize when I chose the set-up that not

only was his Daddy a firefighter, but also a pilot :)

NEWBORN CONTEST!!!

I am just having so much fun with the sweet little people!

Aside from getting to snuggle them to sleep, dress them up

& pose them in these cute little ways.....it's the time I get

to spend with their families that's special too. I love hearing

the story of their delivery & to see their faces light up, as if they

are re-living that moment that they first met..... It's such a wonderful

moment when you meet the little person that you have been dreaming

about for nine months! I had that moment four times

as a Mama & would keep having them until my uterus fell out....

as my husband says....sweet of him, yes? :)

Anywhoo- I am running a contest for the Prego Mama's once

again. Instead of Spring fever, I have Baby Fever!
