Our Daughter, Ally, entered her first pageant this year...Although she did not win the title, she went out in style....Even though I told her to throw down her contestant number and call the judges "LINT LICKERS!" Ha! Below is a pic of my hubby and I with her afterwards...

Rough weekend....

We had a rough weekend at our house...our 22 month old daughter was having seizures all weekend. Our older daughter(13) is diabetic and has had one seizure since diagnosis 11 1/2 years ago....but Kendall's were different than Ally's was. We were really scared, but thank the Lord for the internet! I researched what was going on with her and came across Petit Mal seizures. They are a form of epilepsy, but thankfully a very mild version. After connecting with our Dr. and explaining what was going on, he too thought it was the Petit Mal seizures. We went in for bloodwork Monday and she is scheduled for an EEG on Thursday. We won't know anything until next week, so we will be praying and waiting and PRAYING that our little girl will be ok. I am very optimistic that this too will be manageable, like Ally's diabetes diagnosis. As parents, we do the best we can for our kids and just as we fight for a cure for Ally's diabetes, we will fight whatever this is too. Keep us in your prayers......God is listening right now.
